This is not a story of Lahore alone. This is the story of most cities in the world today. How we are irreversibly damaging environment, agriculture & people(other beings too) in our endless pursuits of growth/greed for material prosperity.
I recommend people to this listen to talk to understand in full circle how modern real state development has contributed to a multifaceted environmental, ecological & human tragedy.
Naeem Bajwa spoke on the topic with the honesty and concern he is known for. He is a social and environmental activist from Lahore and he is one of the founding members of the city’s Conservation Society. In his talk, he explained how Lahore’s rapid urbanization has created a complicated mix of environmental, agricultural, and human problems. He shared how the city is expanding faster than its resources can handle and why this should matter to every citizen who cares about the future of Lahore.
