Stories

I was thing to put together interesting stories of people, community and organizations which share similar interests here.

I will try to put their source and links here for anyone to directly contact or engage with them.

Hello ❤️ This is my most personal video. The whole story of why I live a simple life, why I moved to North of Finland, and what I was doing before. It’s quite scary to share something really personal to internet, but I feel this story might give you something. Maybe a spark of inspiration or courage to begin your own story. I hope this video finds you well, and you are able to live a life that makes you feel like yourself.

Alik Pelman grows ALL of his food on only 750m2 (0.075 hectars \ 0.185 acres). To achieve this, it takes him only 8 hours of work per month, and uses only rain water for most of his crops. How does he do it, what does he eat, and what can we learn from him about self sufficiency?

Living a Radically Simple Permaculture Life on 1/4 Acre | Creatures of Place

Creatures of Place is an insight into the wonderful world of Artist as Family: Meg Ulman, Patrick Jones, and their youngest son, Woody. Living on a 1/4-acre section in a small Australian town, Meg and Patrick have designed their property using permaculture principals. They grow most of their own food, don’t own cars and ride their bikes instead, use very little electricity, and forage food and materials from their local forest. We found their story super inspiring and we think you will too!
